Everything in Evili is paid for in coins. Here is where they come from and how they are spent.
Where coins come from
| Source | What it is |
|---|---|
| Signup bonus | New accounts get 300 coins to start with |
| Coin packs | A one-off purchase. Pack coins never expire |
| Plans | A subscription that tops up your coins each week or month and renews until you cancel. Plan coins last until the end of the period you paid for. You can hold one plan at a time; see How do I change or upgrade my plan? |
| Daily coins | A free amount you collect once a day on the Coins screen. A new account starts with a Welcome week, which pays more than the usual daily cycle that follows it |
| Gift codes | Enter a code in the Gift code box on the Coins screen. Coins from a code do not expire, and each code can be used once per account. A code can have an end date or a limited number of uses, so it may tell you it has expired or been fully claimed. Capital letters, spaces and dashes in the code do not matter |
Plan prices are on the Pricing page, which you can read without signing in. What each plan and pack gives you is shown on the Coins screen once you are signed in.
Which coins get spent first
Coins from a plan are spent before coins from a pack, so your pack coins — which never expire — stay untouched underneath.
Plan coins last until the end of the period you paid for
Weekly and monthly plans give you a fresh amount of coins each week or each month. They do not carry over: at the next renewal, whatever is left of the previous period is replaced by the new amount, so it is worth using them within the period.
A yearly plan is billed once for the year, and its coins arrive a month at a time. Those monthly coins add up across the year — nothing is taken away at the end of a month — and whatever is left goes when the year you paid for ends. The coin figure shown for it on the Coins screen is the total for the whole year.
If you cancel, you keep the coins for the period you already paid for, and a yearly plan keeps receiving its monthly coins until its year ends. When that period ends, the remaining plan coins go and nothing is renewed. Pack coins and gift-code coins are not affected by any of this.
Where to see all of it
Select your coin balance at the top of the screen to see your balance and today's daily coins, then Get coins to open the store. You can also open Coins from the menu behind your account icon in the top-right corner. The Coins screen has your balance, Plans, Coin packs, daily coins, What a coin buys, and the Gift code box.
Missed a day of daily coins? You keep your place in the cycle; you just do not get that day's coins. If your balance is full, today's coins wait until you have spent some. The day turns over by the time zone saved on your account, which may not match your device's clock; after you collect, the strip tells you how long until the next one.
How much a generation costs
Every template shows its coin cost before you start — on its card, on its page, and again on the Generate button. The price is set per template by the AI model behind it, so costs differ a lot between templates. Where a template lets you choose its Length, a longer video costs more, and the button updates as you change it.
There is no hidden cost, but a few things are charged separately. Some templates make a still frame first and charge for it straight away; the video part is charged only when you select Continue to video, and each extra frame you ask for is charged again at the price on its button. Try again and Generate again start a new generation, so they cost coins again. A generation that fails costs nothing.
What a coin is not
Coins are a prepaid way to use Evili. They have no cash value, they cannot be transferred to another account, sold, or converted back into money, and unused coins are lost if the account is closed. See Refunds, and what happens to your coins.
Price changes
Prices can change. A change never affects a pack you have already bought or a term you have already paid for, and for a plan it applies from the next term. If a renewal price goes up, we e-mail you at least 30 days beforehand so you can cancel first if you would rather.
